Members of the Marple Newtown Football Team and Coaching Staff visited Bryn Mawr Presybeterian Church on a Saturday in June to make dinner casseroles for the needy. This is the third year that the Tigers have volunteered to perform this community service.
Under the direction of Cathy Whiteside, the boys put together 150 dinners. These dinners will feed 250 hungry and homeless people at two Philadelphia area Shelters. The Bethesda Project and Our Brothers Place in Philadelphia received the meals.
The following members of the football teams participated: Craig Hamilton,Corey Power, Ed Graham, Anthony Rosanio, Tom Panczner, Ian Whiteside, Markos Katrakazis, Chris McCaw, Thomas McHale, Brett Mellman, Nik Rhoads, Sean Furst, Larry O’Connor, Jake Le Maitre, and Dom Talluto.
