Tigers Drop Close Game to Conestoga

The Freshmen team lost a close 12-8 decision to Conestoga on Wednesday, Setember 30.
After jumping out to an 8-0 lead, the Marple Newtown Tigers allowed the Pioneers to get onto the board, but denied them their 2 point conversion to hold a 8-6 lead.
Conestoga added another score in the second half, but the Tigers once again thwarted the conversion attempt.
The Freshemen Tigers (0-1), with many lessons learned , look forward to their next contest against the rival Haverford Fords on Thursday, October 8 at Haverford.
